Funeral services for Mr. Ernest Carl Brady, age 84, of Alexandria, Indiana and formerly of Overton County, will be conducted 10 A.M. Monday, May 11, 2009 from the Chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston,with Rev. Jeremy Byrd officiating. Burial will be in the Allens Chapel Cemetery in Hilham. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening 5 P.M. until 8 P.m.
Mr. Brady was born in Overton County Tennessee to the late Quitman and Belle Hawkins Brady. He was a retired truck driver with GM in Anderson, Indiana and he attended the Memorial Baptist Church in Livingston. Mr. Brady was a former member of the Eagles Lodge in Anderson, and a Veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by daughters, Betty Dunn & Fiance` David Hensley of Alexandria, Indiana, and Magie & Kenneth Payne of Sparta, Tennessee. Daughter in law Anna Brady of Livingston, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
