Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May, 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Florien, LA the Revs. Lee Dickson and Dennis Bigner officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Reverend Larry Neal DeLoach, 60, of Mt. Carmel, LA passed away on May 9, 2009. Reverend DeLoach was born on February 28, 1949 in Pineville, LA to Arthur and Ebbie DeLoach.

Larry was a devoted husband to Diana, his loving Wife of 40 years, Father, Pepaw, Pastor, Friend, and most importantly a steadfast Christian.

He served as pastor at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for a total of 25 years. He was always there for anyone who needed him for visits, prayer, encouragement, a laugh, or anything else that might be needed.

Larry has had many trials over the past years but his faith in the Lord has never wavered. This faith was his ministry. He lived as an example to his church members, family, community, and all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Diana; children, Kirt DeLoach of Indianapolis, IN, Chad DeLoach and wife Loni of Cartersville, GA, Chris DeLoach and wife Kelli of Converse, LA; grandchildren, Kira DeLoach of Baton Rouge, LA, Brandon DeLoach of Cartersville, GA, Lexi and Kody DeLoach of Many, LA, Kelsey Meshell, Ashton and Austin DeLoach of Converse, LA; brothers, Eugene of TN, Richard of Pineville, LA, Gordon of Dallas,TX, Elliott of Dallas, TX, Ray of Alexandria, LA, Roy of Houston, TX, Loyd of Pineville, LA; sister, Gwen of Pineville, LA; and a special mother and father-in-law, John and Norma Everett of Pineville, LA.

Rev. DeLoach was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ebbie DeLoach of Ball, LA; brother, Arthur, his wife, Edith and their son and his wife, Tommy and Trina, and their son, Asa all of Minden, LA.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the members of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. You will never know how much you enriched Bro. Larry's life. We would also like to thank our community, friends, and church families for all the prayers, kind words, phone calls, and support.
