Funeral services for Charlene Ann KIRK, 72, of Muskogee, formerly of Vian, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Sallisaw with Revs. Clarence Guthrie and Susan Parsons officiating. Burial was in Marble City Cemetery in Marble City, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. Mrs. KIRK was born April 18, 1933, in Evansville, Ind., to Charlie GILBERT and Dorothy (JOHNSTON) GILBERT. She died Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Muskogee. She married Robert "Bob" KIRK, Oct. 23, 1955, in Evansville. Survivors include one daughter, Norma Shawn; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Norma and Helen; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob on Aug. 10, 2003, in Muskogee and one son, Robert Nolton KIRK.
