Edwin I Bath Passes at Veteran's Hospital

Edwin Iseman Bath forty four year old World War veteran died at the veteran's hospital Columbia. He had been in ill health for several years and had been seriously ill the last year.

Funeral services were conducted at the home 229 Queen Street here at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev H D Bull officiated assisted by the Rev H H Wells Jr Pastor of First Baptist Church. Interment was made in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr Bath was born July 17 1895 son of the late D M and Mrs Ella Grier Bath of this county. Surviving are the widow the former Miss Lillian Tedder of Georgetown and a daughter Miss Janice Bath of Georgetown.

Mr Bath was a member of Prince Fredrick's Episcopal Church Pee Dee and a member of the American Legion and of the Andrews Masonic Lodge.

Mr Bath joined Company B 106th ammunition train field artillery on October 18 1917 as a volunteer. HE served as a corporal in the AEF with his company from May 26 1918 to March 27 1919. He was honorably discharged at Camp Jackson April 3 1919.
