Mr. Martin Chambers, sr., died at his home, this county, near Jordan, on Wednesday last, in his 81st year. He was one of the oldest, most substantial, and highly respected citizens of the county. He had been a great sufferer from asthma for a number of years, and seldom left his home. The county had no more worthy citizen. He leaves several children, and an extensive relationship.
