WAYNE LEROY CRULL
HARTFORT CITY, Ind. - Wayne Leroy Crull, 74, 1313 N. Webash Ave., Hartford City, died Tuesday at Blackford County Hospital.
Born Dec. 18, 1919, he was the son of Paul and Thelma Barnes Crull. He was married Feb. 24, 1940, in Bluffton, to Ruby C. Heflin. She survives.
He retired in 1974 from farming. He then worked for 10 years for the Blackford County Highway Department retiring in 1985.
He was a member of Indiana Farm Bureau and a former member of the Indiana Pony Pullers Association.
Others surviving are two daughters, Margaret E. Arehart of Anderson and Myrna L. Mason of Hartford City; one son, Melvin L. Crull of Fairmount; six brothers, Leon Crull, Ray Crull and Francis Crull of Elwood, Ivan Crull of Frankton, William Crull of Greentown and Paul Crull Jr. of Poneta; three sisters, Velma Heflin of North Manchester, Eva Hollowell of Marion and Florence Manghelli of Beaverton, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Kapling Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City, with the Rev. Bob Moore will officiate. Burial will be in the New Lancaster Cemetery near Elwood.
Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
