George B. Bishop, 69, of Versaillers, Mo, formerly of Kansas City, died Friday at the Veterans hospital hear.
He was born in Herone, TX, near Dallas, and had lived hear
most of his life before moving to Versaillers 1961. He was
a refrigeration engineer at Armour & Co. here. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Versaillers. He was a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Veterans of
Foreign Wars. He leaves his wife, Mrs Myrtle Bishop of the home, a son, George M. Bishop, of Platte City; a brother, Eldridge Bishop, Petersburg, Va; a sister, Mrs Annie Foster, Atlanta, La; and three grandchildren, Graceside services will be held at 11:30 o'clock Tuesday at the National cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth, Ks. Friends may call
after 7 o'clock tonight at the Rollins chapel, Platt City. The family request no flowers and suggests contributions
to the American Cancer fund.
