Edna F. Strumpfer, June 27, 1921 - June 14, 1996, Edna F. STRUMPFER, 74, South Bend, died at 8:45 a.m. Friday at her residence. She was born in South Bend and lived most of her life in the South Bend area, moving there from Rochester. On Dec. 26, 1959 in South Bend she married Max L. STRUMPFER, who survives. In 1990 she retired from Inwood's Department Store. Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Chera L. NEAL, LaPorte, and Mikki McKAY, Wichita, Kans.; four grandchildren; one sister, Gerri PATZER, Edwardsburg, Mich.; and one brother, Richard HOLLOWAY, Niles, Mich. Services will be at 1 p.m Tuesday at the Forrest G. Hay Funeral Home, South Bend. Cremation will take place at Riverview Crematory, South Bend, with burial of ashes at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
