Henry Aldous was the son of James and Mary Aldous. He spent most of his life in the Canton area, with the only exception being a period of about 10 years shortly after his marriage when he live in Watertown and worked as superintendent of the Jefferson County Fair.
When in Canton he ran a farm on Brick Chapel Road before retiring and moving to Judson Street in Canton.
He was survived by his wife, two brothers, and a sister.
