Beloved James Cambridge was born Cambridge Ottis Smith in Knoxville, Iowa to George B and Jessie A (Simpkins) Smith.
He was the youngest child of 5 and his parents died when he was 10. His adult siblings did everything in their power to rear him to adulthood. However, he was the most colorful and mysterious of the clan...... why James no one knows, but we all have a good idea he was running from something or someone.............
He was never married, nor children whom he is was claimed to.
Rest in peace Uncle, I vowed to find you, and yes it took three generations to do it on a long twisty trail, but what a ride!!....... alas your home again
