Robbie Ruth Cochran affectionately known as "Shotgun", was born April 1, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama to the union of Bernice Davis and Robert Smith. Robbie confessed Christ at a very early age and throughout her life. At the age of fifteen she was baptized in Jesus' name and received the Holy Ghost at Bethlehem Temple #6, under the pastorate of Elder Gibson.
Robbie attended Foche Mlddle School and Southeastern High School In Detroit, Mlchlgan
Robbie's passion for all people extended tremendously, everyone was always welcome in her home. Robbie loved cooking, reading her bible and she had a passion for dancing and skating.
Robbie departed this life on April 14, 2007 at 3:43 A.M. Two sisters, Bernice Hinton and Saundra Smith, preceded her in death. Robbie leaves to cherish her Memory nine children. Claressla Ruth, Clarence Wilbert(Erika), Bobby Maurice (Kimberly), Lawrence Lamont Deshon (LeVada), Sollie William (LaToya), Robbie Sharon, Kenyatta Marain and Jeremy Allen Cochran:
Seven siblings, Gewndolyn Smith, Wilbert Smith, Bernard McClendon, Cecil Tyrone McClendon, Evelyn Smiley (Lamont - Lawrence), LaSheryl Williams (Andrew Merchant), and Thomasetta McClendon: twelve Grandchildren Christia, Ciera, Clarnece II, Kambria, Deshon Jr., Sollie Jr., Cortney, Shacarla, Christion, Malachi, Carl Jr., Bobby Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
