Westerly, RI - Debra Lee (Loughborough) Cote, 50, wife of Mark A. Cote of Batterson Ave., Westerly, died at her home, March 20, 2009.
Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Ellsworth "Red" and Minnie (Ferraro) Loughborough.
Debra was employed as a cashier at the Westerly Walmart and was also formerly employed as a certified nursing assistant. She was a caring and giving person.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two sons, David E. Rios and Jacob J. Rios and a daughter, Rose Marie Roberts, all of Westerly; a brother, John Loughborough of Ashaway, R.I.; five sisters, Judy Sirois of Warwick, R.I., Mary Varas of Alton, R.I., Joan Coon of Bradford, R.I., Ellen MacLeod of Westerly, and Susan MacLeod of Groton; four grandchildren; and her father and mother-in-law, Paul and Linda Cote of Oakdale.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Vincent de Paul Church, Church St., Bradford, R.I. There is no procession from the funeral home to the church. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
