Martha J. Russom
Martha Jane Russom, 82, of Raleigh, N.C., died Jan. 3, 2008, at Lex Health Care in Raleigh.
Born June 8, 1925, in Morristown, she was the daughter of John E. and Ruth (Rigdon) Harper. She married Frank V. "Barney" Russom, and he preceded her in death in November of 1987.
Survivors include her sons, John Russom of Chesterfield, Mo., and Charles Russom of Clemons, N.C.; daughter, Melia Jane Ziegelmeyer of Raleigh; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Harper; and sisters, Olive Hogue and Mary Ann Grodian.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
Services were entrusted to Hauk-Spencer Mortuary, 363 W. Main St. in Morristown.
