Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Van Zandt County.
Mr. Baugh died April 18, 2008, in Prescott, Ark.
He was born December 7, 1953 in Grand Saline to Devon and Dorothy Vance Baugh. He grew up in Canton, graduating from Canton High School in 1972. He married Mona Tubbs in 1975. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1975 to 1979. He graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas and served as associate pastor for Waco Christian Fellowship for 12 years. He returned to Canton after retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Mona Baugh, Canton; daughters and son-in-law, Carey Baugh, Canton, Kellie Baugh, and Cassie and Robbie Booth, all of Denton; son, Jesse M. Baugh, Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Gary Newell, Canton; parents, Devon and Dorothy Baugh, Canton; and granddaughter, Micah Baugh; a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Jimmy Dee Baugh, Troy Alexander, Gary Newell, Robin Booth, Mike Tubbs, Bruce Tubbs, Doug Reese, Don Baugh, Pat Baugh, Rickey Baugh, Jesse Valentine and Allen Harrelson.
