SOUTHPORT- Mrs. Dora E. Arnold, 78, widow of Alfred W. Arnold, died Wednesday night in a Raleigh hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church in Bolivia by the Rev Harry Whisnant.
Burial will be in church cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Will Arnold of Raleigh; and two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Wilson and Miss Lula Woodside of Wilmington.
Pallbearers will be E. T. Allbright, Louis Harvell, U. D. Harvell, L. P. Richardson, Liston Richardson, and Leon Williams.
Visitation will be at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Southport until 1 p.m.
