She was born to John Floyd Fisher and Nellie Jeanette Sinclair Fisher, in Idaho Falls. She grew up in Idaho Falls, graduating from Idaho Falls High School. She married Len Chapple June 4, 1954 in Elko, Nevada, then worked and raised their five children in Idaho Falls. He preceded her January 24, 2002.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and belonged to D.O.E.S. A lifetime homemaker and mother, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, making baby blankets and gardening.
