Bobby Jean Roberts lived his whole life in North Mississippi. He came from a large loving family. He was a military policeman in the Korean War. He worked as a traveling salesman for J. J. Rogers and Sons for 44 and a half years. He married Doris Herring in 1954. They had 3 children Rickey, Christy, and Kitzi. He has one grandchild, Audrey, who was born two years after his death. He was a faithful member of the church of Christ. He was a wonderful Father and Husband, and full of fun. He loved to laugh. He was also a very smart man. He had a lot of patience with his children and with people in general. He had a generous nature and would help anyone who asked him. He wasn't just our Daddy, he was OUR HERO. When he died, we thought we would die, too. But, two years later, God gave us Audrey to love and take care of. My only regret is that he didn't live to see her. Even though he's been gone for more than 11 years now, we still think about him a lot. WE LOVE YOU BOBBY JEAN ROBERTS !!!!!(From Your Children)
