Funeral services for Mr. David E. Hemphill, age 46, of Petersburg, TN, who passed away Saturday, May 09, 2009 at the Lincoln Medical Center conducted in the chapel of the Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home with Larry Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Talley Cemetery.
Mr. Hemphill was a native of Lincoln County, TN, he was the son of the late Edward Hemphill and Sadie Mae Dye Hemphill who survives.
Mr. Hemphill was employed by the Pillsbury Company in Murfreesboro, TN, he also had worked for I C P of Lewisburg, TN and Goodman Mfg. of Fayetteville, TN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and an avid New England Patriots Fan.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife: Tracie Marie Hemphill, sons: Tyler, Derek, & Joel Hemphill all of Petersburg, TN; a son: Robert Travis Luna of U.S. Marine Corp, Iraq; 3 sisters: Gail Marie Porter of Belfast, TN, Rhonda Ann Waters & Charlotte Elaine Gower both of Lewisburg, TN; and a brother: Douglas Hemphill of Decatur, AL.
