Sheri C. Adams, 58, Blue Springs, Missouri passed away April 13, 2009 at home, from cancer. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 17, 2009 at First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs, City Union Mission or Kansas City Hospice.

Mrs. Adams was born November 23, 1950 in Unionville, MO to Robert D & Jo (Knowles) Crawford. She graduated and has celebrated her 40th reunion from William Christman High School, Independence, MO. Sheri taught mathematics for 31 years from 1972-2003 at Truman High School, Independence, MO. During that time she received a Presidential Award for math education. In 2004, Sheri became a math professor at Avila University, where she worked until her death. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Blue Springs. Sheri is preceded in death by her father, Robert Crawford. Survivors include; husband of 33 years, Chuck Adams, of the home; mother, Jo Crawford, Independence, MO; daughter, Elizabeth Adams, Grain Valley, MO; sister and brother in law, Cindy & Blake West, Overland Park, KS; and nephew, Josh West, Overland Park, KS.
