FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD FOR MARY BECKER MONDAY
Mrs. Mary Becker, 81, died June 11, at the residence of Gerhardt Heine, at Fordyce. She had been ailing 4 years. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Helena. Rev. Ernest Halemba officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Gary Heine, Gene Heine, Donovan Becker, Donald Temme, Joseph Temme and Robert Temme.
Mary Temme was born March 30, 1883, at Carroll, Ia., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Temme. Her childhood days were spent at Carroll. The family moved to Petersburg, Nebr., when she was about 16 years old. They resided there for 5 years before moving to Cedar County in 1904.
Mrs. Becker was married to Henry Becker, Sr., November 10, 1908, at Stuart. Mr. Becker preceded her in death January 16, 1951. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Altar Society.
Survivors are: 2 daughters, Miss Leona Becker and Mrs. Gerhardt (Florence) Heine, both of Fordyce; 3 sons, Julius B. of Hillman, Minn.; Alphonse, Glencoe, Minn., and Henry Becker, Jr., of St. Helena; a sister, Antonette Temme, and 2 brothers, Hubert Temme and Theodore Temme, all of Petersburg.
