Lambert Funeral Tuesday

DECATUR, Ind. Dec. 16 - Funeral services for Hezekiah Lambert, 74, civil war veteran, will be Tuesday afternoon. He has been a tenant for the past fourteen years on the Davis Dailey farm, east of here, and death was due to obstruction of the bowels. He was a member of Company F, 38th Ohio infantry. The widow who was Luella McConnehey, and one son by this marriage, survive. There are a number of children by a former marriage and the step-children.

Marriage #1 to Rosilla Densmore in August, 1865 in Paulding county, Ohio and marriage #2 to Loweldie McConnehey on December 5, 1900 in Van Wert, Ohio.

Hezekiah's grave is marked by a wooden cross with a plaque bearing his name. He is buried near his brother, Jonathan who's grave is marked by an identical cross.

There is question as to where Hezekiah is actually buried. According to the below funeral home record, he was buried in Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana.
