HELMUTH DREWS
Helmuth Drews, 41 year-old former resident of this city, passed away at his home in the town of Newton, near Osman, last Wednesday afternoon following a lingering illness.
Mr. Drews was born in Kiel on June 25, 1907, the son of Mr. and (deceased) Mrs. Frank Drews. On Jan. 22, 1938, he was married to Miss Hildegarde Ramminger of Crystal Lake. The couple made their home here for a few years and for some time near Manitowoc. For the past two years they have lived in the town of Newton.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, three sons; his father, Frank Drews, and his grandfather, Julius Drews of here. One son preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Meiselwitz Funeral home here, with the Rev. C. E. Stuebbe of Newton officiating. Burial was made in the Kiel cemetery.
