Ada Arlene Mitchell Burson

Ada was born on Nov. 7, 1918 at Neola, Duchesne County, Utah to Marvin Rudger and Cora Hacking Mitchell.

Ada married Dudley Weldon Burson on Aug. 30, 1938 at Vernal, Utah. They lived in Neola and had three children--Arlene Ella, Carnes Dudley, and Carma Bly. Dudley spent several years as a top iron worker in Salt Lake City. He is an excellent farmer. Besides the regular farm products and stock he was raising mink. Ada, aside from being Dud's ablest assistant, is a talented writer, also is pretty good in the art department. She is very musical, as are their kids. She's a very good housewife and cooks food that makes us poor cooks green with envy. Above all, she and Dud are swell parents. All the kids are good with music. Arlene is especially talented at the piano. Dudley was in the Seabees in the 2nd World War.

On October 2, 1989 Ada passed away at Midvale, Utah and buried in the Murray City Cemetery.
