Robert passed away at approximately 4:20 P.M., Sunday, August 24, 1988, due to drowning after a boating accident on the Angelina River, Jasper County, below the dam, between the 63 bridge and Bevilsport across from the "sandbar".
Robert is dearly missed by his family, including his wife, Cynthia
He was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his sons, Blythe Watkins Foster.
Robert was a good man who loved and cherished his entire family. His life was cut much too short.
He was proud to call many people "friend" and rarely met a stranger, as he was friendly to all.
Robert had an open, wonderful smile that lit up any room that he entered.
