Karl Gideon Murdock, 86, of Orem, our loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away of complications following surgery, Thursday, January 18, 1996.

He was born January 16, 1910, in Minersville, Utah, son of Orrin and Cassie Myers Murdock.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, of Orem; son, Douglas Karl Murdock (Diane) of Kennewick, Washington; daughters, Diane Gage (Norman) of Sugar City, Idaho; Lois Carolyn Carriere (David) of Wadsworth, Ohio; and Bonnie Jo Law (Tim) of Orem; 22 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Loretta Cline and one brother, Jess McKnight.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 22, 1996, 11 a.m. at the Orem North Stake Center, 1000 North Main. Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 600 East 800 North, Orem, and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to services. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
