He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary McLain.
Survivors include five daughters, Cathy (Tony) Ashburn, Gloria (Donnie) Nolen, Cherry (Howard) Mullins, Bobbie Goodnough, Traci McLain; three sons, Mike McLain, Greg McLain and Tim (Donna) McLain; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
