HARTSELLE — Funeral for Mrs. Mary Francis Downs, 89, Hartselle 4, who died today at Pineview Hospital, will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Methodist Church, with burial in Johnson Chapel Cemetery, Brown-Service directing.
Survivors include six daughters, Miss Flossie Downs, Mrs. Grace Hughes, Mrs. Sam Kay, Mrs. Ray Kirby , all of Hartselle, Mrs. Charles West, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. William McGee, Belle Mina; five sons, Homer Downs, Hodges, Ala., Fred Downs, Danville, Elbert Downs, Lowell Downs, both of Hartselle, and Loyd Downs, Basham; two half-sisters, Mrs. Nina McCluskey, Mississippi, Mrs. Etta Partain, Birmingham; three half-brothers, Jordan Bobo, Lester Bobo and John Bobo, all of Mississippi; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
The grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
