OBITUARY
Floyd Anderson, retired mail carrier, died at 6 p.m. Friday September 27, 1963 at veterans hospital in Marion after a two-year illness. Mr. Anderson, a lifelong resident of Elizabethtown, was 87 years old.

He was rural carrier out of Elizabethtown for 30 years before retiring in 1934. Mr. Anderson was born March 13, 1874 to John D. and Laura E. Wilson Anderson. He was a veteran of the Spanish-American war and first world war.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Hathaway funeral home in the casket will be open there afternoon Monday.

Survivors are three children Mrs. Edith Anderson of Berkeley California, Norman Anderson of Cincinnati Mrs. Nadine Rogers of Michigan; a sister Mrs. Iva Wilds of Denver; and two brothers John D. Anderson of Elizabethtown and Irving Anderson of Clarksville, Tennessee. A son, Lloyd Anderson, preceded him in death.
