Obituary: Ole Dyrdal Dies Suddenly In Home - Having been ailing only a few hours, Ole Dyrdal passed suddenly away at his home on the River Road last Saturday evening. The news of his death came as a distinct shock to his family and friends.
The deceased was born in Norway, April 15, 1886, the son of Marcus and Hilda Dyrdal. At the age of 7 he came to America with his parents, settling in the Grace neighborhood. Here he attended school and was confirmed in the Norwegian Lutheran church.
On April 9, 1910 he was united in marriage to Ann Sather and to them five children were born. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Marcus and Harold of Frankfort, and two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Robotham of Beulah and Alice at home; a sister, Mrs. Willis Rodebush, Frankfort, and a brother Magnus of Casnovia, and 3 grandchildren. A son Olaf, passed away several years ago at the age of five.
The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. J. C. Johnson. Burial was made in the family lot in the Lutheran cemetery. (Gilmore Twp. Cemetery)
