LYNCHBURG - Ernest Lindsay McLane died at his residence in Lynchburg yesterday after a short illness.
Mr McLane was superintendent of Continental Trailways in Lynchburg for 40 years. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of Fort Hill United Methodist Church and the Businessmen's Association.
A native of Charlottesville he was the son of the late Edgar and Minnie Walton McLane.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Mawyer McLane; two daughters, Miss Patricia McLane of Florida and Mrs. Dorothy Kuss of Fairfax; two brothers, Hensel McLane of Charlottesville and Cody W.
