Charles A. Birdaee of Aurora, a retired Air Force master sergeant and college instructor, died February 2nd.
He was 79 years old.
He was born April 16, 1917 in Denver His mother's name was Lillian Morton Bird, she died in 1917 of the 1917-1918 Flu.
His Father was Albert Charles Bird and he had amnesia during the time he was married to Lillian Bird. I am his half sister Millicent. I never did understand why he changed his name to Birdaee. He told me but it never made any sense.
He married Shirley Cohen in Yokohama, Japan.
Birdaee served in the Air Force for 25 years during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He was a food management instructor at Community College of Denver.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his wife Shirley, a daughter Avonne Birdaee, Aurora, and Millicent Rice, half sister, Lawson, Mo. and Evelyn Balfour who is an abdopted sister of California.

His nickname was Chuck and he died of pneumonia.
