OUSLEY, ELBERT DOYLE - age 55, of Maynardville, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, October 10, 2000, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Member of Raccoon Valley Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Tate and Ruby (Shumate) Ousley; sister, Doris Ousley-Kanott. He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony and Melanie of Johnson City and Michael and Tabitha of Oliver Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Meryl Waggoner, and brother-in-law, John Kanott, all of Maynardville; four grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday with funeral to follow in Ailor's Chapel, Rev. Paris Woods and Rev. Clyde Hall will officiate. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Monroe Cemetery. Pallbearers, Randall Woods, Darrell Woods, Ronnie Wade, J.C. Bowles, Daniel Hurst, and Bill Malone. Ailor Mortuary, Maynardville, in charge of arrangements.
