Private First Class Jackie Dean Jr Bird, casualty of the Vietnam War.

As a member of the Army Selective Service, PFC Bird served our country until August 22nd, 1969 in Bing Thuy, South Vietnam.

He was 19 years old and was married.

Jackie died from small arms fire/grenade.

His body was recovered. Jackie was born on January 16th, 1950 in Houston, Texas.

PFC Bird is on panel 19W, line 091 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.

He served our country for less than a year.
