Mrs. Duncan was a nurses aide for Dr. Moore in Herington and at the Irwin Army Hospital in Fort Riley.
She was born July 9, 1910, in Morrill, the daughter of Walter L. and Bertha A. Bordner Zavitz.
Mrs. Duncan was a 50-year member of Esther Chapter No. 96 of the Order of the Eastern Star, a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Royal Order of the Beauceant, all in Herington.
She married Pleasant E. Teel on Sept. 2, 1928. He died Jan. 17, 1960. She married Frederick H. Wood on July 9, 1960. He died Jan. 9, 1975. She later married John H. "Jack" Duncan, who died Dec. 12, 1986. A son, Robert W. Teel, died Dec. 22, 1995.
Survivors include a sister, Katherine Dawson, Houston; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Donahue Funeral Home Chapel in Herington. Burial will be in Lost Springs Cemetery. Chapter No. 96 of the Order of the Eastern Star will conduct Eastern Star services. Relatives and friends may pay respects at the funeral home after 9 a.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of the funeral home.
