Earl Thomas Robison, 95, of Caldwell, went to meet his Heavenly Father on Sept. 12, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Caldwell Christian Church, 3223 E. Ustick Road. Burial will follow at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, Nampa. Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.

Earl was born March 18, 1912, at Milburn, Okla., the third child of five sons born to William and Arizona Robison. When Earl was 3 months old, his father moved the family back to his home area in Tulare County in California. Earl started school in Fresno, Calif., in 1919. He attended numerous schools in different areas due to the continued migration of his family. At the age of 13 his mother passed away leaving two younger brothers Stanley and Roy, which Earl helped raise. They traveled in many states following the harvest and any carpenter work their father could find. They returned to Oklahoma in the fall of '26. They remained there until the fall of '27, then moved to Texas. In the spring of '29, they left Texas working their way to Arizona, settling in Phoenix where he was employed for three years.
On June 9, 1932, the family moved to Sunny Slope. It was there he met his future wife, Treva Wallace. Their marriage on Sept. 13, 1933, spanned 74 years. To this union two sons were born, Charles Thomas and James Wallace Robison. Earl drove truck hauling to West Coast markets for 3 1/2 years. In 1945 he became a partner with his brother Stanley, forming Robison Fruit Ranch. Earl always worked closely with his two sons, and kept in close contact with them and their children.
He was an active member in the First Christian Church for 50 years and filled many offices. He was also known as the greeting elder and was a mentor to many of the young folks. He served many years on the board of trustees at the Boise Bible College. As chairman of the board, he was privileged to sign the articles of corporation in the year of 1974. Earl was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge as well as the Scottish Rite and Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, two sons and their wives; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and two brothers, Stanley and Roy Robison.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and two brothers.
