John H. "Jack" Regan, 87, of Springfield died at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at his residence. He was born Dec. 30, 1902, in Maxwell, the son of William and Bridget Cody Reagan. He was the former owner of Quality Dairy.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Marcella A., in 1974; one sister, Agnes Dunigan; and two brothers, James and William.

Mr. Regan was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Elks Lodge and Knights of Columbus Council 364. Surviving are three sons, John M. "Jack" of Springfield, William R. "Bill" of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dennis C. of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. John J. (Sandy) Berry of Springfield; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Francis M. of Mount Clemens, Mich.; one sister, Mary Watts of Greenwinsh, R.I.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Concelebrated Funeral Mass: Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Rev. John Ossola and Rev. James E. Taylor, OMI, celebrants. Burial: Calvary Cemetery.
