Myrtle Grun Bennett, 59, of Denver City died Saturday in an Abilene hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Denver City with Pete Cunniff and Steven Parker officiating. Burial will in Denver City Memorial Park, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Fredericksburg and grew up in Loop and Seagraves, moving to Denver City in 1958. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harold Bennett.
Survivors include one son, Howard Grun of Barstow, Calif.;three daughters, Zeme Cuniff of Fort Worth, Beverly Wynn of Houston and Natalie Bennett of Denver City; four brothers, Russell Grun of Moro, Richard Grun of Tuscola, Edward Grun of Dayton, Tenn., and Freddie Grun of Houston; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body will be at the funderal home until noon today, then at Ratliff Funeral Home in Denver City from 5 p.m. today until noon Tuesday.
