Harold served as a Flight Officer on B-26B #41-32058, 331st Base Unit, Key Field, U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.

He resided in Monroe County, New York prior to the war.

Harold died in the "Line Of Duty" when his B-26 became lost on a navigational training flight out of Key Field, Mississippi and ran out of fuel causing the B-26 to crash 2 miles northwest of Bailey, Mississippi, and 10 miles north of Key Field, Mississippi during the war.
