She was born in Irish Ridge, Town of Verona. Daughter of Michael and Anna Goodman Sullivan. For several years she worked as a stenographer in Oneida Ltd. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Oneida.
She leaves five sisters, Miss Catherine Sullivan, Oneida; Mrs. Thomas Tyrell, Rome; Mrs. Frank Creedon, Oneida, Mrs. Michael Byrne, Durhamville, and Mrs. James Kelly, New York and three brothers, John, Durhamville; James Irish Ridge and George, Rome.
