J. J. (Uncle Jack) Tucker, aged 94 years, 3 months and 26 days, died at his home 2 1/2 miles north of Scotts Hill Saturday, July 3, 1920, at 10 o'clock, p.m., with the infirmitys of old age. He was born March 7, 1826, son of George Washington Tucker and Millie Davis Tucker and was married to Sarah Jane Tuten, August 6, 1840. To this union were born 9 children: Permillia Arabell, Mary Ann, John Frank, Alexander Lafayette, George R, James M, Emma L, Carrol Van Dorn, Leonard Bedford Tucker.
