Geneva Hairup Williams, age 89, passed away on March 14, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.


She was born March 31, 1900 in St. Charles, Idaho the daughter of Nels and Eliza Jensen Hairup.


Married Clifford C. Williams on June 15, 1921 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 31, 1948.


She served as a Primary president and Relief Society president and on several Stake Boards. Was a successful artist and author of numerous children's stories. Geneva enjoyed doing Temple work and genealogy research.


Survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael J. (Marilyn) Malvey of Reno, Nevada; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Leona) Curtis and Mrs. William (Laverne) Clayton, both of Salt Lake City.


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 19, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, where friends may call the hour prior to the services.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
