IVEY; Kathleen, 91, of Tullahoma, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at Life Care Center of Tullahoma. A Moore County native, she was a member of the Tullahoma Rhyme-time Club, Tullahoma Toilers of Coffee County FCE, Paul Pyle Dulcimer Association and the Moore Memorial Sunday School Class. A true and faithful friend to all who knew her. Friends always found a warm and hearty welcome in her home. One of Her greatest pleasures was having people visit. Gordon and Kathleen were married for 62 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Nancy Elizabeth Martin Murray; one brother, Thomas Murray, and one sister, Irene Haynes Ray.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon Ivey; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jim Rissler, of Tullahoma; daughter, Barbara Brewer, Lawrenceburg; brother, William Murray, Tullahoma; three sisters, MaryMable Bryant, Aletha Green and Esther Mullins, all of Shelbyville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, Aug. 18, at Tullahoma Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, at First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma with Rev. Jim Beaty officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations can be made to First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma. Tullahoma Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
