ALLEN
Norman W. Allen, 75, a native and lifelong resident of Baldwin County, died Dec. 22, 2003.
He served in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Allen; his parents, Thomas L. and Frances Allen; and a sister Ruby Isaac.
Survivors include five sisters, Ada (Howard) Barbee of Sevierville, Tenn, Eula Boone, Annie (Jerry) Garner, Delito (Lloyd) Mayhair all of Cantonment, Fla., and Bobbie (R.A.) Flowers of Robertsdale; three brothers, J.T. (Cheryl) Allen and Orlan (Myra) Allen, both of Robertsdale and Alton (Rachel) Allen of Brewton, Ala.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Dec. 27, 2003 at Mack Funeral Home Chapel and burial was in New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gateswood, Ala.
A visitation was held Dec. 26, 2003 at Mack Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Edsel Allen, Tommy Mayhair, Ray Flowers, Keith Allen, Wesley Garner and David Allen and honorary pallbearers were Don Davis, Norman Hood, Pete and Bill Peterson, Edmund Hare, Clarence Burke and Calvin Pope.
Arrangements were by Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, Robertsdale.
