Henry M. Blocker

Henry M. Blocker, 76, 111 West 14th, died Monday night at the Halstead Hospital following a short illness.

He was born June 19, 1895, in Sylvan Grove. He married Bonnie C. Keesling, Feb. 7, 1924, at Sylvia. THey moved to Hutchinson in 1950. She died Sept. 25, 1969. He married Wilma Davis, Aug. 17, 1970, in Hutchinson. He was a self-employed carpenter.

He was a member of the Eastwood Heights Church of Christ.

Survivors include the widow; sons: Ervin and Kenneth, Oaklawn, Ill.; daughter; Mrs. Marguerite E. O'Steen, Danville, Calif.; stepsons: Fred Taylor, Oakland, Calif.; William E. Taylor, Alexander, Va.; John E. Toland, Great Bend; brothers: Reinhardt, Pretty Prairie; Ernest, 804 East 6th; Lewis, Burdett; sisters: Mrs. Minnie Hanson, 1201 East C; Mrs. Rosie Smith, 308 West 6th; Mrs. Lydia Seyfert, 227 East 1st; 16 grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church; Doyle Wells, Jimmie Keas, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call until 10 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Chapel.
