The Daughter of LAFAYETTE and MARY ALTA (WEAVER) DUNAGAN, she was born October 4, 1894 at Mill Spring, Wayne CO., KY. She was united in marriage to the late LUID E. BROWN on June 23, 1917 at Mill Spring, KY. She was a housewife and a lifelong resident of Wayne County, and a member of the Mill Spring Christian Church. Among the survivors are 3 Daughters, Mrs KENNETH(KATHYLEEN) CAMPBELL, and Mrs G.C. (MARY RUTH) WEAVER, Jr., both of Touristville, KY, and Mrs GENE (BETTY) WRIGHT, of Monticello, KY; 2 Sons, EMERY BROWN, of Touristville, KY and BOBBY BROWN, of Windy, KY; 1 Sister, Mrs LUTHER CAIN, of Graham, TX; and 2 Brothers, FOXIE DUNAGAN and MONTIE DUNAGAN, both of Frazer, KY. Funeral services were held Sunday, May 18, 1975 in the chapel of the funeral hom, with Bro. Paul Bohrer and Bro. Homer Williams officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cem., Wayne CO., KY.
