Joshua Post, Jr., the older brother of the three who came to Ohio, grandfather, great-grandfather, yes two and three times great to many here today, was born November 19, 1771. Mollie Dee, February 4, 1772. They were married 1784. They moved from Saybrook, Conn., in 1820 with their family of 13 children, two sons and 11 daughters, with one ox team and one horse. They settled in Boston, Ohio, where he died in 1822, two years after settling, aged 51 years. He was buried in Boston where his grave is yet to be found. Mollie, his wife sayed on the farm about six years, then she sold it and came to Twinsburg and purchased 50 acres on Liberty street, where she lived until her death, January 4, 1860, aged nearly 89 years living with her youngest son, Philo. Of her 13 children, all settled in Twinsburg excepting three. Polly, the oldest daughter, never came west to live but settled in Durham, N.Y., where some of her children are still living. Dianah settled in Boston, Ohio, afterwards moving to Arlington, Hancock county, where she died a few years ago.
