UNION CITY - Ruth Milner Wheatley, 87, retired
from Texgas Inc., died Friday at Union City Manor. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home with burial in West View Cemetery. She was a Pink Lady for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City, and a member of First United Methodist Church and Business and Professional Women's Club. Mrs. Wheatley, the widow of Thomas Ervin Wheatley, leaves two sons, Thomas Milner Wheatley of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert Kent Wheatley of Union City; a sister, Annie Laurie Graham of Union City; three brothers, Bob Milner of Union City, Terry Milner of Nashville and Richard Milner of Gulfport, Miss., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
