Loudie Lillian HEMPHILL
Birth: 23 Sep 1873 in Jackson, Hinds County, Mississippi
Death: 3 Jan 1873 in Vici, Dewey, Oklahoma
Buried: 100F Cemetery, Norman, Cleveland County, Oklahoma

"Loudie outlived three husbands and nine of her eleven children, but she was always such a cheerful and positive person. Of her 11 children, only Buster and Howard outlived her."

Father: Willis Marion HEMPHILL b: 11 Jun 1831 in Madison Co., GA
Mother: Nancy Jane COOPER b: 1 Dec 1831 in Sbeen Creek, MS

Marriage 1) Thomas F CRAWFORD
Married: 4 Jul 1887 in Winn Parish, Louisiana (she was 13, he was 21)

"Thomas F. Crawford was born c1866, son of Robert M. Crawford and wife Theresa (or Thursy, as it was on one census), who was son of John S. Crawford and wife Jane (who were on the Avoyelles Parish, LA, census in 1850 - Robert M. was 23 at that time - ergo b. c1827). By the time of the 1860 census, he was head of household in Winn Parish, with several young children, including Thomas, who was the baby. I suspect Robert died in the Civil War, if not before, because in 1860 Theresa was listed as HofH, with the same children, only 10 years older."
