Funeral services for Hogan W. Batey, 72, Wisner, were held last week at King's Pentecostal Church in Wisner. Burial was in King's cemetery.

Mr. Batey died Wednesday at his residence after a short illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Batey of Wisner; two sons, Warnie M. Batey of Wisner and James Earl Batey of Port Allen; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Adams also of Port Allen; a step-brother, Spencer Roberts of Wisner; two step-sisters, Mrs. Henry Cooper of Wisner and Mrs. Ross Turner of Ft. Necessity; and six grandchildren.
