He resided in Cantonment for over 38 years. He was preceded in death by one son, Frank Givens.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 63 years. lnez Givens; daughter, Betty Lou Milstead; three sons, Thomas Givens Jr., Leon Givens. Howard Givens; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 7, 1999 at 3:00 PM at Perdido United Methodist Church in Perdido, AL.
Burial will be in the Sullivan Cemetery in Perdido. AL.

Leaving to cherish his memory a loving wife of 63 years, Mrs. Inez Virgina Givens. Together they raised five beautiful children: Betty Lou Milstead, Thomas Elige Givens, Jr., Frank Hayne Givens, Harold Leon Givens, and Ossie Howard Givens.
